We realize that there are many incredible organizations out there doing great work in our community. Furthermore, you have a choice when it comes to which ones you get involved with and support. We hope you’ll consider giving to CASA Jefferson, Inc.
Our children. Children of all ages, races and socio-economic backgrounds. Children who want to be loved and have incredible potential. All of them do share one unfortunate trait – each child appointed to the CASA program has been a victim of life-threatening abuse or neglect.
Our volunteers. They are at the heart of our work. Our volunteers most often work full time juggle busy home lives themselves along with being civic minded and family oriented. What sets them apart is that they have answered the call to volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA Jefferson, Inc. They give hope and a voice to abused and neglected children.
Our need. CASA Jefferson, Inc. is a private non-profit organization. This means that your donation is absolutely critical to the existence of our program.
How will my donation make a difference?
Donations allow for the continued recruitment, training and support of CASA Jefferson’s advocate base. Our volunteers are assigned to cases of children who through no fault of their own enter the child welfare and legal systems. Volunteers serve a critical role in ensuring that no child slips through the cracks of an overburdened system. Additionally, they serve as a dedicated set of eyes and ears to a juvenile court judge who will ultimately decide the permanent placement for a child. Maybe most importantly, they are a stable and constant adult in a child’s life during this unstable, uncertain and often scary time.
