Mark your calendars!  Giving Tuesday will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2018. CASA Jefferson, Inc. is proud to be a part of the  #GIVINGTUESDAY movement, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. #GIVINGTUESDAY is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

CASA Jefferson, Inc. has served Jefferson Parish for 30 years providing critical human services to our children in foster care. In the 2015-2016 fiscal year, CASA Jefferson’s children with an Advocate spent 616 days in foster care compared to the national average of 730 days.  Last year, 89% of the closed cases achieved a permanent home. Our goal is to ensure that all of our children receive a safe, nurturing home.  We look forward to you joining us on  #GIVINGTUESDAY 2018!
